Like some others, I have mixed feelings about the Phantom Gourmet enterprise (see one of my previous BBQ Beach Party posts).

I know it costs money to organize these events, but it doesn't make me happy to pay money to buy food.

Yeah, yeah. There's sand and music and a beer garden and assorted fun -- BFD!

(And I don't mean the 'Boston Fire Department'.)

IF YOU GO, you should head over on Friday afternoon so you can eat and drink for whatever the vendors are charging.
