Friday Calendar (& Weekend Sneak Peek)

Besides what is on the calendar, there are also great rock shows on both sides of the river tonight just slightly over the CTB limit: Kingsley Flood's long-awaited CD Release show at Brighton Music Hall -and- Tallahassee’s CD Release show at The Sinclair. All the bands are excellent at both gigs.

More fun stuff will (at least) appear on the calendar. The 3 big happenings you should think about this weekend are:

SAT 5/4 -- Wake Up the Earth Festival [PDF Schedule & Map] (Noon to 6pm, Free)

SAT 5/4 & SUN 5/5 -- Somerville Open Studios (Noon to 6pm, Free)

SUN 5/5 -- Harvard Mayfair (Noon to 6pm, Free)

Or (for a cheap thrill, free admission) you could hang out and bet on the Kentucky Derby at Suffolk Downs...

And Saturday is Free Comic Book Day!
