TUES 6/24: Fireworks Filler

Until I get a chance to polish up the post, here's some fireworks over Boston Harbor last night. I started to hear a lot of explosions -- too much to be gunfire -- so I went up to the roof with my camera. I don't know why it happened, but I think it's an annual pre-Independence Day event.

If you hear the music, it's "Red" by Okkervil River. Better than the Boston Pops in my opinion.

By the way, this is not going to be a good year to watch the July 4 fireworks in person. With the Longfellow closed to spectators this year, every other spot is going to be more crowded.
