Tomorrow may be a rainy day, but there is some good outdoor cheapness in Cambridge...

Weirdo Records (Cambridge) and Newbury Comics (Portland to Providence) seem to be the closest-to-Boston stores that are participating, but I'll double-check. Both are having live performances and special offerings.

Earth Day Celebration
at Jamaica Pond, about 500 Jamaicaway, Jamaica Plain

Rain or shine: "arts & nature exhibits, bird walk, park clean up, Jamaica Pond history tour"

John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo
at Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston St, Boston (Back Bay)

Sports merchandise booths and info sessions on both days like "Annual Sports Medicine Symposium" and "Runner's Seminar Series". Just down the street from the Marathon finish line.

Shakespeare Birthday Parade
from Cambridge City Hall, 795 Mass Ave (Central Sq) to Winthrop Park, about 50 JFK St, Cambridge (Harvard Sq)

Parade as part of Bookish Ball in Harvard Sq. Check the link for info about participating.

Bookish Ball & Shakespeare Birthday Bash
at Winthrop Park, about 50 JFK St, Cambridge (Harvard Sq)

Performances and attractions around Winthrop Park from 1pm to 5pm as well as "special in-store events, refreshments, entertainment and shopping discounts at participating stores all afternoon and evening."

Pick up a "Bookish Ball Passport" and visit book stores for stamps to enter a prize drawing.

"French Kiss-A-Thon"

"Triiibe": Opening Reception
at Gallery Kayafas, 450 Harrison Ave, Boston (South End)

Photography exhibit of performance art with the artists in attendance at the reception.

"Memoirs": NUDanCo Spring Showcase
at Blackman Auditorium, 360 Huntington Ave, Boston (Northeastern campus)
$10 / FREE with Northeastern any college ID

Northeastern University Dance Company presents 15 pieces in various styles include contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, and more.

Thanks so much for the listing! The NUDanCo Memoirs show at Northeastern is actually free with ANY college ID, we have recently been told. Hope to see you there!
