FRI 7/23: Film, Play, Rock, Hip-Hop

All of me is vacationing in Maine, and I didn't prep the CTB. My apologies, but these are some pretty good cheap ideas for tonight...

You barely need to leave (or enter) the Green Street T Station to see an exhibit of video and animation at the Axiom Gallery called "REFRESH". The opening reception is tonight.

FRI 7/23

Sunset
"Where the Wild Things Are"
at Hatch Shell, Storrow Dr, Boston (Charles River Esplanade)

A summer outdoor movie could be nice.

8pm to 10pm
"Comin' Home To Indiana: The Music of the ishmaeLites"
at The Democracy Center, 45 Mount Auburn St, Cambridge (Harvard Sq)
$10

A musical play about 19th-century American wanderers in the Midwest.

FRI 7/23

8pm
The Pre-Nups

Wow! I almost want to get married, so this band could play the reception. It's very close to The Gravel Pit with Mike Viola! I think it's really a showcase for prospective clients at the beginning followed by a real show later.
