SAT 7/11: Slurpees, Outdoor Fun 'n Music, Music at Night

Who cares what you do? It's a sunny Saturday!

(Some Sunday stuff around 2pm.)

--------------------------------------------------------------

SAT 7/11

All Day Long
7.11-ounce Slurpees
at participating 7-Eleven stores
FREE

Have at least one free mini-slurpee while tiny-cup supplies last! (There are quite a few locations in the area.)

SAT 7/11

Noon
SketchCrawl 23
meet at Middle East - Restaurant, 472 Mass Ave, Cambridge (Central Sq)
FREE / whatever you drink

Drink, draw, go to the next bar... Repeat.

SAT 7/11

12:30pm to 4pm
Mysterious Boston Scavenger Hunt
TBA Location
FREE

Banditos Misteriosos always put together some fun activities. You definitely need to read what's going on well ahead of time. There's some preparation needed.

It's best to register at the website for organizational purposes (400+ people showed up last year).

The meet-up location will be posted at midnight.

SAT 7/11

1pm to 4pm
Micro/Mini Car Day
at Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline
$10

A Mini Cooper is a friggin' minivan compared to these miniscule marvels from the '50s and '60s. The extra cool part is that you can go for rides in some of these cars.

It's like a convention for the micro/mini-car owners, so you might just see the flock of them driving around the area this weekend...

Your fee also includes admission to the museum.

SAT 7/11

2pm to 7pm
Riverfront Music Festival
Feat: Fastball, Eric Hutchinson, Sam Roberts Band, Katie Herzig
at Waterfront Park, about 1 Merrimac St, Newburyport (Market Sq/Riverfront)
FREE

Dude, Fastball! "The Way", "Out of My Head", "You're an Ocean"... Sam Roberts puts on a great show. Eric Hutchinson is pretty darn good. Hang by the water in Newburyport.

SAT 7/11

7pm
The Temptations
at Hatch Shell, Charles River Esplanade, Storrow Dr, Boston
FREE

I assume one of the original Temptations is still in the band...

Part of the Oldies 103.3 Summer Concert Series.

SAT 7/11 & SUN 7/12

Various Times
Sail Boston: Public Tall Ship Boardings
at Charlestown Navy Yard, Fish Pier, World Trade Center
