Does your band want press? Do you have any endeavor that you'd like to get covered by the press?

You could pick up some hints tonight. I've heard a few new tidbits whenever I've attended Rock Shop.

MON 4/8

Various Times
Rock 'n' Roll Rumble 2013: Preliminaries Night #2

$8 / 18+

Feat: Camden (11:15pm), Herra Terra (10:30pm), The Deep North (9:45pm), Endation (9pm)

If you missed last night's prelim battle, there are 5 more to go. Like most nights, it's a mixed bag of bands that want to rock their hearts out.

MON 4/8

9pm
Punk Rockin' and Pastie Poppin'
at The Midway Cafe, 3496 Washington St, Jamaica Plain
$8

Feat: Abby Normal, Mary Widow, Lolli Hoops, Kid Vicious, Penny Candy, Honey Pie, Sir Sleaze-a-lot, Jane Doe, Claude Kitten, Femme Brulee, Belle Gunz, Dinah DeVille

Hosted by Taylor Connelly

It's a burlesque birthday party for Dinah DeVille at this month's show and "Punk Rock Dance Party". The 'Burlesque Roulette' wheel also makes it world premiere tonight...

Cover charge includes 2 raffle tickets.

MON 4/8

9:30pm
Devil on Horseback, Fire King, Triple Thick
at Charlie's Kitchen, 10 Eliot St, Cambridge (Harvard Sq)
$5 / 21+

You don't need to go to the Rumble for loud rock music. I might personally be more inclined to get a triple-shot with garage dudes Triple-Thick, hard-poppers Fire King, and old-school riffage from Devil on Horseback.
