FRI 12/23: Dinner Coupon, Perhaps?

Hey, I meant to mention it earlier, but it's also valid from MON 12/26 thru FRI 12/30...

If you go out to eat tonight (or next week), the City of Boston Holiday site has a $10 voucher for selected restaurants -- besides discounts to holiday shows/events. There's a PDF version to print out.

As you can see, I think the main catch is:

Enjoy $10 off when you spend $40 or more.

The wording seems ambiguous to me, but I believe it kicks when your food total is more than $40. (If the restaurants follow the deal, it also says "Excludes tax, alcohol and gratuity.")

There seems to be a cluster near Faneuil Hall (Dick's Last Resort, Kingfish Hall, McCormick & Schmicks, Ned Devine's, Mija Cantina) and a few in the general Back Bay area (Brasserie JO, M.J. O'Connors, Xhale).

There's a couple in the Seaport (606 Congress, Aura), a couple in the North End (Davide, Maurizio's), and a couple in Cambridge (Upstairs on the Square, Sidney's Grille).

Some others: Fajitas & 'Ritas (Downtown Crossing), Masa Restaurant (South End), Fugakyu (Brookline), Brunello Bistro (Somerville), Yoki (sushi in Medford?)...

There are some fancy/expensive places on the list, but it doesn't say you have to be more than a party of one...

8/13 & 8/14: Newbury Comics CD/DVD Coupon

Hey, it's a win-win.

You get about about 25% discount on a used CD or DVD - and - you're supporting a local record store even if you don't buy anything else.

People tell me there are good deals on equipment (at least on the first night, haha).

11/11 to 11/15: Reebok Coupon

Who loves you, babies? Me, I do. When someone shares something like a Reebok coupon, I try to pass it on.

I didn't realize that there were Reebok and Rockport outlet stores in Mass, but there are... There's even a Greg Norman Outlet Store -- they're all in Wrentham along with other locations.

Well... All around the country, I imagine... Seems that you can use this coupon at Patriot's Place Reebok (outlet?) store.

I'm no shopper, but you could go crazy with an extra 25% on most stuff (there's fine print on the coupon). The wonderful part of this offer is that it can be applied on top of other discounts.

There's a code to be used on the online Reebok store -- (best read aloud: "omo-pray ode-cay 435660 at eckout-chay.") -- and maybe enjoy free shipping.

It's good from today 11/11 through SUN 11/15.

I might write something later in the week, but there's no harm thinking about going on vacation even if you can't afford it... Friday night is free admission, and it's $10 on the weekend BUT it's a 2-for-1 deal if you print out the image or use the promo code online. (Those 18 and under get in free anyway.)

Besides all the people handing out brochures and saying how awesome their destination is, there will be seminars/presentations including a couple of the Frommer family.

Restaurant Discounts...

But it's probably not cool to use it today, but that's between you and your loved one...

I used Restaurant.com this week, because my buddy Greg in FL sent me an extra discount code. They sent me another discount code that can be used until SUN 2/15, so I'll share it with you.

Hint: The code is not TRICK.

If your not familiar with the site, they partner with restaurants all over the country to provide $25 certificates for $10. My discount code reduced the cost to $5 -- this code reduces it to $4! (Let me do the math for you -- it's a $21 discount on your bill.)

And you get a $15 discount through FTD. It really works...

You have to register. There's a lot of places to choose from; I got one for Tommy Doyle's in Kendall Sq. Choose a place, then print out the coupon. They do send almost daily emails, but I haven't gotten other spam so far.
