TUES 12/27: Rap & Folk

I admire performers that still do their thing in the week before New Years Eve.

If you're not saving up your energy to go overboard on NYE, then you're probably recharging the batteries after running around during the holidays. (And sometimes both apply.)

The CTB calendar should already have all the cheapness before 12/31, and I should have 12/31 and the rest of the weekend up soon.

There could also be a NYE Preview also.

Heck, you might even still be able to get free tix to the THUR 12/29 gig at TT's...

TUES 12/27

Outland Camp, Weird Die Young, Dopemen, Wayne Da Payne, Jnuts, Full Effect, Vocal
at Middle East - Upstairs, 472 Mass Ave, Cambridge (Central Sq)
$10 / All Ages

Hosted By DJ Turnament & Ricky Mortis

If you wanted to hear some live hip-hop last night but the timing didn't work for you, then you have another chance tonight.

TUES 12/27

Ryan Fitzsimmons & Friends (7:30pm), Ryan Lee Crosby & The Red Heroine (10pm)
at Toad, 1912 Mass Ave, Cambridge (Porter Sq)

If you like your folkiness on the traditional side, the early show is your cup of tea. If you like it more emo and indie, arrive closer to the later show.

Of course, your entitled to enjoy both cups of tea along with more adult beverages.
